Another Teacher Raffle
I have quite a few teacher friends, and they have some pretty unique ideas when it comes to raffles. Not only do they use raffles for fund raising at their school, but they also use it in their classrooms. I don’t know if they just find ways to use them because they know me or not lol. I have one teacher friend who came up with a great idea lately that highly incorporates raffle tickets that I thought I would share on here as a raffle idea.
At the beginning of each quarter of school she gives each student 5 raffle tickets to use for the whole quarter for different things in the classroom. If they need a pencil, they have to give her one of their raffle tickets. If they have to go to the bathroom, they have to give her a raffle ticket. If they get a detention they have to turn in all of their tickets. If they have any raffle tickets left at the end of the quarter, they can turn them in for a prize of some kind.
I think that this is a great way to motivate students to stay on task in the classroom. It’s also a really creative way to use raffle tickets, which I love of course. It’s such a cool way to give the kids responsibility for their actions and instill a sense of responsibility in them. It is an all around great idea!
